In March, 2003, the FEBBC/Y Theological Education Taskforce issued an executive summary of ways to enhance the effectiveness of pastoral training in Fellowship Baptist churches. While the Taskforce identified 15 actions steps, the key initiative was to create the Northwest Centre for  Leadership Development: to foster a life-long approach to the formation of leaders through networking Fellowship churches with leadership educational resources.
