All of the Editions of the Best Practices for Church Boards are designed to equip Congregational leaders to serve with excellence. The Advanced Edition focuses on one key, critical issue. This year we will address the role of the Board and the Pastoral staff in the crucial process of making good and Godly decisions. Church leaders can benefit from discovering processes that would build healthy relationships, avoid unnecessary conflict, and advance the mission of the Church.
The workshop will include sessions of teaching presented by Dr. Guy Saffold. He brings a wealth of experience in leadership having served as the Executive Vice-President of Trinity Western University, professor in Leadership Studies, and currently serves as a senior leader of Campus Crusade’s Power to Change. Dr. Saffold will present commonly accepted practices used to enhance the decision-making process of Church Leaders. Dr. Saffold will introduce appropriate models and practical exercises designed to help your team employ the essential ideas.
The workshop will begin at 9am sharp and conclude by 4:30pm. Lunch will be provided and there will be two beverage breaks.
The cost of registration for the workshop is $350.00. Costs include materials, lunch, and refreshments – but not parking fees. Please note that your registration is not official until we receive the funds for registration. Also, there will be no refund for withdrawals within two weeks of the workshop. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Dr. Lyle Schrag.
